I'm looking for opinions from everyone about which track tire I should go with. I've narrowed it down to either the Nitto NT01 or Hoosier R6. Any input is appreciated! :)

The NT01 would make a good rain tire, but for the ULTIMATE in dry track experience, go for the R6, hands down. I've run both on my 07 & the R6 is superior to the NT01 on dry track. In the wet the NT01 did offer the safer ride.

    I have a set of 2 17" 70% NT01s .

As I am a noob I got them for drag racing and found out the hard way I had the wrong tire.
What size are you looking for? I can get the specific size if you have any interest

No personal experience with either but the R6 is THE tire of choise at Hallet. Literally half of the R compound tires out there are Hoosiers. Seems like the R6 would be the safe bet. Also, you might ask your dealer about it but I've heard that there are two different compounds available and with our heavy cars you really want the "endurance" compound. Like I said, this info is second hand, but it's from a guy running a GT500 in the GT1 class.
