I know the show isn't until November 2nd but I'm making my arrangements now. Anyone been there before? I need to know where you have stayed and price range of hotels if possible. We are not renting a car because we are trying to stay at the strip. It's gonna be the boys, no girls are aloud.

That's just 1/4 the size of the Vegas show. Hell Edelbrock isn't even on the card in NJ.

Like mentioned above you can buy tickets. However I'm in the Automotive Industry so tickets are easy to come by.

I would love to go to SEMA! Watching all the shows like "Two Guys Garage" et al., there make me want to go even more. Didn't know anyone could get tickets. For prices on the strip just check out all of the hotels websites (MGM Grand, New York New York, Monte Carlo, Bellagio, Paris, Venetian, Aladdin, Treasure Island, Mirage, Luxor, Caesar's Palace, all can remember right now), because sometimes they have deals, and the rates are always changing. Also they are usually willing to negotiate. Last time I was there (a couple years ago), was during spring break, and I stayed at New York. It was pretty cool, and it was like $69 a night. Not sure how good that is, but I wasn't paying so... :nice: Also I don't think that was cause we were big spenders in the casino. I've been in most of them, and the nicest by far was the Bellagio, but its pricey. I'm going in the beginning of Oct. :) so if you remember, and still need info. let me know.

Looks like we will be at Harrah's. The Bellagio is too expensive that week ($229 a night). We are doing a package deal that consists of airfare and hotel in one. No car because we won't be in any condition to drive plus everything is walking distance. I thought we had some Vegas people on this board?

Joe, Harrahs has a very cool outside bar with good entertainment. I try to get out there every 1-2 years. I stayed at the flamingo a few months ago and it was nice, cheaper than most, and in a GREAT location. Harrah's is like right next to it. We don't gamble much, but when we did we went to the Casino Royal which is just up from Harrahs towards TI. Its a dive, but they treated us VERY well, the drinks flowed like crazy, and its CHEAP! I LOVE Vegas. My best friends from college live out there now and are living it up! My one friend is one of 5 managers for the 9 group which runs "RAIN" "GhostBAr" etc that get all sorts of publicity on MTV's real world and when Britney is in town and decides to get married!!!

The Flamingo is $140 a night, not bad at all. Harrah's is $279 a night but with the package deal it just about cuts it in half. I hit Vegas about every 5 years. I went for work the last time and we over heard some drunk guy give someone his room number and we ordered about 5 bottles of Dom with it. We stayed at the Mirage.
