My buddy has a 90? buick lesabre with the almighty 3800, the problem is the volt light comes on and it slowly loses all its power and then wont start, until it sits for a long time. We changed the alternator 3 times, and put in a new battery, so its neither of those. wiring APPEARS to be alright, no lose or frayed ends etc. also, when started after sitting the volt light doesnt come on, only after driving for a bit.
