Brake pads have never been changed out and needs it done. So I'm having trouble with the outer caliper bolt that one that has an internal star pattern to grab a hold of. Sucker won't budge with std tools and because of the rubber surrounding, can't soak it in WD40 or PB.
Do I need a new type of tool to try and get this off? I've tried using vice grips with no success. Why did ford choose to use this type of bolt instead of a regular one that I could get better leverage on? Uggh.
