Look at this pcv screen I took out of a mustang I just bought. (Sorry for the blur)

The hole in the middle is where I ran a screw in to pull it out

Might help with my oil puking out of my filler neck and the valve cover leak.

Kind of looks like the one I pulled out of my wifes Mustang last year. The thing looked like it came out of the bottom of her oil pan. Replacing it and cleaning the oil out of her intake made the car run alot better (for a stocker anyways)

I've got to get one for my new engine out in the garage.I just got a new grommet.The one from my current engine was like that as well.I suppose after the amount of years these screns are in most engines,lucky they're not worse.....if that's possible.

They clean up real nice with a can of brake clean.

mine looked like that. i promptly called ford and bought a new one. it was gross and i didnt even wanna try cleaning the stock one.

This is what I've always done. Its just a wad of steel mesh. No reason some strong solvent shouldn't clean it out.

That's a good idea about cleaning it out. What does Ford charge for one of those? I am sure too much. It is like 5 bucks at the parts store.
