Uncle Meat, my best guess is around 2200-2300, my blue one weighs 2160lbs, full gas tank, no driver, so we'll see.

Thanks Kris for the Offer, some one else is already hosting it for me, added the link to the first post. sorry for all the wind noise, hard to film while driving and shifting, etc. next time I'll have someone film it.

I have been waiting for FF to support the DOHC engine for a few years, glad they have come around. I have seen your progress over on the FF board, lots of work you have there, congrats. I would like to do the very same thing using a modular DOHC, not sure on the SC or NA motor yet. Still debating and waiting for folks like you to work out all the kinks so folks like me can pick your brain. My biggest concern is the wiring, EEC, PATS, electronics. Did you encounter any huge obstacles?

What numbers are you expecting on the dyno and the track?

I know, I know, I should've waited and taken a copilot so that he could have filmed it, but it just happens that I usually work alone on this project and I put it down on the ground and first thing I thought was to go for a spin !
Next one will have a copilot I swear.

    Hey Shane!
    Thanks for your compliments,
I was actually going to build A Big Block FFR, but I got a hold of a wrecked Terminator so that's how the story started, no regrets, this thing is awesome! A couple of big hurdles that FFR never saw with the 03 Cobra engine, I ended up fabricating a few brackets for the different components especially of the SuperCharger system.
There are now a few builders going the 4.6 DOHC route and only a handful following my steps and using a 2003 Cobra engine, it is good timing now to start building one for yourself !

    WhiteStallion:
The engine is stock with only minor modifications, no restrictive exhaust, no EGR , no extra pounds (like 1600 less), a tune from RWTD, so I am expecting to make at least 430 HP right now, after a few months I do intent on a KB or Whipple SC upgrade, pullies, etc, so we'll see.

Curiuos, how much of the donor running gear did you reuse....T56, IRS, etc? I think I need to spend more time on the FFR board and start getting up to speed on things. Keep us posted. A KB sitting on top of that thing will turn that little ride into twice the animal it already is.

    All of it.

Engine, Tranny (never even unbolted it), the IRS I used some parts, like the pumpkin, halfshafts (these need to be shorter (job done by the DriveshaftShop), also used the Cobra Hubs, brakes, (only thing from a TBird is the Spindles since the FFR arms are designed for this, the Cobra halfshafts do fit them.
I also used the Supercharger and everything that comes with it, I did however changed the Aftercooler for an aftermarket one from Gord's, I used the Stock wiring but it was "dieted" to remove many unneeded systems, used the Gas Tank, stock returnless system, the Radiator and fan, I am also using the stock gauges but they will be hidden during car shows, the Carbon Fiber Dash is going to have nothing on it, just a bezel hidding the gauges behind a smoked glass door actuated by an electric motor from the 03 Cobra's rear window, you can see a video of this in action here:
    http://www.cobra4me.com/phpBB/SC.php
also using the front 03 Cobra spindles and brakes, the stock wheels (for now), the Hydrobooster system, etc. etc.
I also used the computer but a Predator and a tune from James (RWTD) to remove many signals from the computer, also during the wiring diet (done by http://www.wirediet.com) they removed what I thought wasn't necessary like ABS, Trac-loc and PATS, these were phisically removed.
You know the concept of the full donor build from Factory Five, except that I took it to the next level and used the Ultimate donor, the 03 Cobra.

    Later and have fun !
if you do decide to stop by the Modular Builders section of FFCobra look me up:
