Been thinking of these for quite a while now but not sure what I think of 'em. Haven't seen many in person or in pictures. Anyone have some they can show me?

Dave I've seen two sets so far...I've been unimpressed with them, they just don't blend well when they meet the kick panels.

Avoid them there tacky ass hell and look like crap, plus they get scatched up easily. My Gt came with polished stainless sills, they look way out of place. No pics installed as its currently stripped getting ready for chassis work then paint.

Keep the polished billet stuff under the hood and out of the interior, it gives it a cheezy knock off look. shifters are ok but buttons and cover just don't belong.

I was going to get them powdercoated, actually. Definitely didn't want to go shiny!

I'm thinking they might look decent with a white interior vs. the darker interiors that most folks have. I can't say for sure though... I've not seen them installed with either interior.

    ANd here's a brushed look:

I was thinking of replicating my burgundy color onto them in powdercoat, to stay understated but obviously updated. Maybe get some etching done too...dunno!

I'm thinking a powdercoat red with white etching, maybe a good blender to match the rest of you interior

    Ah ok i see

I dunno if i would go for that in a Black interior such as mine. Besides, i'd scratch those up with my boots in a second

I'm careful getting into it (that's a rarity in its own right :( ) plus the p'coat would protect it. I don't want plain billet or plain polished, keep that in mind. Maybe if my interior were black, it'd be a nice contrast. Otherwise, nopers.
