Sounds awsome, Paul
Hope you get 'er back on the road soon, and get some drive-by footage
I can't watch stupid quicktime BS
This w/e... not sure. Depends on the engine. Our club Power Tour is June 2nd & 3rd - here is a link with the full route. Complete with pictures.
Sorry about that. I was getting ready to pull the engine. I didn't want it too hot. Just enough to burp out water and oil for the camera.
www.quicktime.com - it's a free player. I'm a designer (mac user) so you better get ready if you want to watch MY vids. Besides theirs nothing stupid or BS about it. Many of the special effects you enjoy on TV or at the Movies... are produced on a Mac. So you enjoy fighting your stupid BS viruses. I'll enjoy surfing the net.
UPDATE: engine is suppose to be ready to pick up. WOOT!
Well , get off the stangnet and get that motor!
I don't have a truck. So I'm waiting on my cousin to pick it up and deliver it. It WILL be in the car Saturday.
how much you paying I'll come haul it for you
Better start driving, it's in KS.
how long is your air filter???
Update: Engine was back in the car friday night. We started it at midnight.
Still a few bugs to work out. But no head gasket leaks so far. Wow, he put a lot of sealant on them.
I've run a couple of tanks of gas through it already. Even got some video of it killing off my rear tires. Should be posted soon.
OH HELL NO post the VID lol
Video one: http://www.100mphclub.com/movies/331_gcomfx1.mov
A quick 75% jab of the throttle with a lot of feathering... followed by a softer roll into the throttle for a nice clean run.
Video two: http://www.100mphclub.com/movies/331_gcomfx2.mov
Another quick jab to get the stall going during a slow roll... followed by my first power brake attempt.
Enjoy, but leave some feedback!
Paul that is nice...can't wait for the nitrous...
They are worn out, rusted through, front ends blown out aluminized Magnaflows that I've had on the car for 7 years. I'm replacing them tomorrow with new stainless steel magnaflows with turndowns. No more tails for a while.
You and me both.... need a few more reburns on the chip I'm sure. Plus, my subframes and ET Streets installed. Then we may see what it'll do. Both bottles are full are ready to go.
have fun with your rear cause as soon as you put those E/Ts on there it going bye bye...haha...just dont launch it too hard
