This is the 95/2000 Cobra R hood it has the double step like the 95 but doesnt have the extended lip or half a cut out for the heat......like the 2000 it has louvers which are closed but have to cut outs by the winshield for the heat instead of water coming in from the top...the drilled/slotted rotors were put front and back same size at stock....with painted calipers i decided to add as well when changing the brakes and rotors...im not to big on the headlights so u can save those neg. comments....i already went through with that....one headlight was hit by a truck...the other hazed.....i got the halos for 100$ and work a lot better then stock.........and i no the car has to be lowered...the car is dirty in the pics and they arent the best but its a idea on how this hybrid hood looks

That looks awesome.. I especially like the wheels and brakes. I want to get chrome wheels on mine someday, but first I have to get more power under the hood. Worry about the "go" first, then the "show."

I've heard that cross-drilled rotors crack quickly unless they're top quality. I wonder if cryotreating them would prevent that by stress-relieving all the stresses in the metal caused by drilling? Let us know how they work out!

they have a 500mile break in period...if you salm the brakes or keep hitting them hard vetween that time they will crack but i mean wheel lock up...

The ones that are prone to cracking are the ones that are actually drilled. The good ones are molded to have a "drilled" look. But for street use, I doubt you'll ever break them unless you just like slamming on your brakes or don't pay attention when you drive ;)

:stupid: i think they've got to get a lot hotter than whats normal for regular driving to crack prematurely. but when they begin to wear, just like regular rotors, they start to get heat cracks except they'll branch out from the holes. btw what size rotors did u put on?

they're stock size....they look bigger then stock in person because the new wheel shows them better plus they're not so darken like the old ones....but so far they stay pretty cool compared to stock

IMO nice car, but would be sooooooooooo much nicer if you did some suspension work. This era stangs, the stock ride height sucks as it is, so it's nothing you've done, that is wrong, however, I think suspension should be on your list, or, if I'm being presumptuous and you've already done suspension, I think you need to redo it, just my opinion tho, take this with a grain of salt.

Still, nice damn ride!! One of the nicer I've seen in this section, no doubt.
