Hey guys, I wrote a thread last week about ordering 95 Cobra R Rims and BFG DR's from the Tire Rack. Well i finally got them put on in time for this weekends MOPAR Nationals here in England and thought i would post some pictures of how the look for all those who have thought about using this particular rim...

Hmmm, those look better on the s197's than on the older ones. That's nice. Now, I'll wait for AFS to do them in 18x10.5 black chrome.

    Tires are 275/40/17 BF Goodrich Drag Radial 2's. Rims are 17 x 9 Cobra R's with a 6.49 Backspacing and 36mm Offset..

That ain't too bad. A lot of guys are putting +23mm to + 30mm offset wheels on and they just can't get the 275's to look right.

    Sweet looking rims !! :nice:

I'm in the process of selling my 94 GT. Currently have FMS Cobra R's 17x9's on, and I love em. Also have 17x10.5" AFS rims with 285x40's that I'm keeping.

Once I sell the 94 I'm planning on get a pair of 17x9 Cobra R's on the front with Nitto 255x45x17 and then put the AFS 17x10.5 on the back with the 285's. Should be sweet.

Thanks for posting the pics. Your car is looking great !

Your 10.5's will stick out of the wheelwell about 2". The offset is way off on those to work on the new cars. Sell the whole set and start over.

I'm bad with metrics, the 10.5" I believe have a 27mm offset, and I think a 33-35mm offset would be the very least I could get by with.

Yup, time to sell and start over. Thanks again ! Dewman

For a 10.5" wheel, 43mm is the perfect offset. I've seen a 315 on a 10.5" wheel on the rear of an 06. Awesome.

Here is a couple pictures of my 05 GT with original Ford 95 Cobra R 17x9
Chrome rims with 275/50-17 Nitto 455's.These rims are 45mm offset.Stick out about a quarter inch past the wheel wells. But no rubbing at all.

45mm?? Where did you find those? Ford Racing told me the OEM 95's (which i have) were 36mm rears and 24mm fronts ( i think)....
