Tongue twister? Anyone got any pics of their painted pony wheels. Im trying to decide if I want to change the colour of mine but Im not sure yet. Lets see em And heres what my car looks like now with them. And yes I realize the front tires are tiny I bought them like that and thats why I'm changing them to MT radials on the back and 225s on the front
ooooh i really like those black ponies...I have also been looking into doing this. Does anyone have any pics with white ponies by chance?
what's weird is the shadowing is showing as if the sun is behind the car but there is a sun burst on the hood as if the sun is shining from the front or left side... or maybe i know nothing about nothing... hmm thats funny.... anyhow, yeah thats a good looking car the way it sits
i painted my a few months ago with dupli-colour high performance wheel paint, and the high performance clear coat, i painted them the same colour silver, and they turned out awsome.
93 teal terror, what paint did you use to do your wheels? and is the lip polished or just painted aluminum? that looks REALLY good. i really need to paint 3 of my wheels (4th is brand new) and i'm thinking about painting my wheels like that.
I used the duplicolor I think....its been about 4 or 5 years since I did it. For the lip I stripped off the paint and underneath is bare machined aluminum. Then just clear coated over that. The paint hasn't held up real well to rock chips. I need to repaint them but I want to go ahead and get some 5 lug rims
Anyone done black with polished lip on Ponies, before? The anthracite w/polished lip looks good, but I think the black would really set it off, especially on a black Fox. Been seriously considering going this route with the Ponies on my notch, although I've already got some silver paint on hand to re-do 'em in the stock color...
I'd keep em silver. They look pretty good on a dark grey car.I'd go with 245/50/16 for tire size.Thats what i run on all 4.
I think your car looks nice and clean with the ponys as is. I've always liked your car btw. It looks awesome with the welds too. If you're going to paint them though, I think black is the only color that would work. Someone needs to PS it.
