I SEE THIS MUSTANG ALONG THE ROAD THAT I DRIVE ON EVERYDAY TO AND FROM WORK. AND IT SPARKED THE IDEA FOR THIS THREAD. I'M HOPING SOME OF YOU THINK THE SAME WAY I DO WHEN I SAY THIS IS WHAT MUSTANG OWNERS SHOULD NOT DO. I'M NOT TRYING TO BE AN A**OR ANYTHING, IT'S JUST I THINK THIS GUY COULD DO BETTER. GIVE ME YOUR POOR, YOUR TIRED, YOUR RUSTY. BUT PLEASE DON'T DO THIS TO YOUR MUSTANG. IF YOU LOOK CLOSE AT THE FRONT WHEEL IN THE SECOND PHOTO, IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S MISSING TWO LUGNUTS. ANYONE ELSE HAVE PICTURES OF WHAT NOT TO DO? YOUR TYPICAL COUPE, EXCEPT THE COOL FOGLIGHTS <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t104/meldhast1707/DSC01294.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> NOT A BAD LOOKING CAR, EXCEPT FOR THE WHITEWALL REAR TIRES... OH WAIT, WHAT'S THAT? <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t104/meldhast1707/DSC01295.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> OH SWEET MERCY. IT'S A BIG WING... <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t104/meldhast1707/DSC01297.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> ...OR IS THAT A SNOWBOARD? IN NORTH TEXAS?? <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t104/meldhast1707/DSC01293.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> AND IT'S MOUNTED ON SOME ACORDIAN-LIKE MOUNTS, OR IS IT SPRINGS? AND IT LOOKS AS IF THIS GUY OPTED FOR THE ULTRA-RARE SCREWDRIVER TRUNK LOCK. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t104/meldhast1707/DSC01296.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>
i might put a wing on my coupe. i will do a better mount and i will put it close to the body, as well as paint it body color. then again perhaps not.
The spoiler on my '03 Mach is faced that way. Of course mine isn't mounted on 'air ride' mounts for my spoiler, and its not quite as gawdy either.
Judging by all the Nissans and Chevies parked in close proximity along with the Texas plate......I'd say the owner(?) of that sad, sad Mustang is of the, eh, "south of the border" persuasion. Everything on there points to that conclusion, but the real capper for me is the cheap "unintentionally purple" window tint. Now it just needs to start bubbling.
I like the fact that the headlight rings match the stripes. It's ghetto fabulous, just missing the gold plated curb feelers.
Lol... anything other than stock and someone is going to complain that it doesn't look good. This car needs some serious TLC, but otherwise It's not all that bad. It's 1 thing to see a car owned by someone on a serious budget and trying to make it look different. I don't think for a second that the owner picked that wing as his 1st choice. Same goes for the wheels, rubber, etc. What really makes me cringe is when I see these cars with $50k dropped into them with hideous body mods etc. With these guys it's all about poor taste and trying to attract attention.
But back on topic, I saw this in a shopping center parking lot and had to get out and take some pictures. You've really got to study it, there are soooo... many gems to pick from. Tim
