There are only two places I know of within 50mi of Lancaster. They are LACR and Willow Springs, but I assume I still have to pay admission AND wait until they open for an even, ie not convenient.

Anyone know of other places to get race fuels between San Fernando and Bakersfield that aren't open on just weekends? I looked into E-85, but there is only one station in SoCal and it's in San Diego, about a 3-4hr drive.

Heh, I'd given up on this thread.

There are a few places here in Lancaster/Palmdale that sell bulk petroleum products and methanol, but I'm not sure if they sell in small quantities or to individuals. There is also a fairly large bike shop here.....I'll have to see if they have anything. R&E Racing has their heads up a dark place; They want $8/gal for gas and over $6 for alcohol.

Ive never really paid attention since I never need to buy it. I dont think they even have it listed on the sign that has the other grades on it. There is just the one pump.

I see. I guess I'll have to stop by the local Unocals to see if any have the high octane that are closer than 60+ miles away. That still leaves the methanol, though. The idiots at the local big bike shop want $8-10/gal for gas. I think C-12 was $10 and 110 was $8. I've heard of a few places in L.A. county that have(or had) 100 for less than $5. WTH?
