Its far from "pristine." There is all sorts of dirt hiding out in the engine bay that is just too much of a pain to get to without removing a significant amount of stuff. So, I clean what I can when I can, and it looks pretty decent, I think.
Give me a month or so to keep cleaning on it. Then you will see pristine. The thing has been sitting since last October collecting dust
I have to get the pulleys and the valve covers cleaner, at least. Also need to polish up the exhaust tips. And, if I get really bored, I wouldn't mind replacing those damn rusted nuts and bolts.
