Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

I have a 97 Cobra with some modifications. Headers, X Pipe, Mass Air meter, 4.10 gears, Etc. The 20 amp fuse for the Powertrain Control Module blew a couple of days ago. I replaced it with another and it blew as soon as you turn the key. I was wanting to know if anybody else has experienced this and if so is there a way to check the PCM. Any help with this would be great. The car has 72,000 miles on it.
