I am new to the forums. My wife and I recently purchased her grandmothers mustang. It is a 1989 Coupe with a 4 cylinder and Auto transmission. My goal for the car is to swap in a 3 valve motor and a 5 - speed (interior and suspension).
I have a mechanical background. I grew up in the garage of my family's trucking company and was a mechanic in the Air Force. This is my seventh mustang including a 1973 Mach 1 that my father and I did a full restoration on.
I hope someone on this forum has experience I can lean on during this build.
