problems with pioneer ipod adapter! very weird!!

I have a 7800mp and a pioneer cb-i100ii ipod adapter. It was all installed 2 days ago. I hooked up my IPOD to it and it recoginized it and everything was working great until a song showed it was playing on my cd deck and tehre was no sound at all.

All others sources (Tuner/CD) both has sound like usual.

Can't understand why this would be. Please help

I don't really know how to help you, but I have heard nothing but negative about those Pioneer Ipod adapters, both the new ones and old ones.

I had a Pioneer head unit and was going to buy one until I started to read up on them. I bought an Alpine head unit and their adapter, which consists of one cable from the back of the head unit to my Ipod. Alpine FTW!!

Sorry I wasn't really of any help, but if you Google it you should find tons of info on it, I did.
