prochamber vs. xpipe

theres a big difference in sound, probably not so much in the power department

If you like the classic muscle car sound get a prochamber and pair it with some nice chambered mufflers like flo's, edelbrock, or mac

The prochamber is based on an h-pipe design

If your looking for more of a "nascarish" exotic sound go with an x pipe and a straight through muffler like magnapacks or slp

oh and yes this topic has been beat like a dead dog:dead:

A ProChamber is not like an H pipe. You've obviously never looked inside one. It's a modified X design.

Pro's And Flow's FTW!

had the prochamber, just now switching to an x,prochamber sounded great, compliments all the time,i just wanted a change and louder, plus the prochamber creates a lot of heat in the trans tunnel, its made to scavenge heat,it builds up in that box dispersing it out both exits evenly.it deff quiets the car down a little bit but mine was still loud.
