production number question?

Is there any way to figure out the option detail production number on the lx coupe 5.0's. I have a 86 oxford white 26M car. 5sp,no power anything except A/C,brakes,and steering of corse. I know their where only 502 of these made, but I would think most of these went to police. trying to decide to restore this car or not?

this shouldn't be the reason your restore the car or not, I dont think anyone is hunting down a car like this. The millage is impressive so I assume it would be an easy fix. Good luck

Unless it's a cobra, saleen, SVO or some other special production Mustang, color and options will not make a "normal" production Mustang any more desireable.

Decide to restore it based on overall condition...not rarity
