Programmable Engine Management System

www.andersonfordmotorsport.com showed a new product at the Performance Racing Industry trade show last week. They have products for EEC-IV Mustangs and EEC-V Fords (all). The system is a piggy-back on the factory computer. It does not require a laptop to do the adjustments. An included control panel allows the access and alterations (full authority - not limited to just a few percent of change). It is a little pricey ($1100) but you won't outgrow it. Impressive!

I have the tweecer, but the AFM PMS is somewhere to look to squeeze every little bit out of your motor. If you read about it there are some benefits of having it instead of just being able to change the values in your PCM, like more accurate engine management. More accuracy assures that you will get better performance given the same settings and also protect the motor when you screw up. ( Better rev control and spark delivery )
