pull timing or not?

9psi powerdyne, stock longblock, 30lb injectors, 8:1 fmu, 255 lph intank pump. should i pull timing, i do not have a btm nor do i really want to get one right now unless absolutely necesarry. i will eventually get one but i am in a money crunch right now. is it ok if i leave timing where it is now? is stock timing 10*?

It would be best to put the timeing at 10 degrees, that is stock. Run premium gas & listen for detonation, if detonation is heard, back off the gas pedal NOW..
I have a 9 lb Powerdyne & don't have a BTM, timing set at 10 degrees, every now & then I get some detonation, not as good gas as far as I can tell.
