In general, a harmonic balancer puller kit is worth just buying. By the time you rent one or borrow one and mess around replacing the damaged or missing bolts, you have paid for the cheap one (HFT) that works fine. It will also pull steering wheels and looks cool in your toolbox the rest of the time.
