Quad Shock

Would it be ok to take my quad shocks off..Right now i am trying to find a squiking sound form the rear of the car.I thought I would start there..My car has 113,xxx miles on it so it could be something else dunno

The only bad thing that could happed is wheel hop when doing smoky burn outs, take them off

What tools do i need. I dont have no air tools just to let u know.

Huh? Get under there and remove the bolts You will need basic tools...

check if the park brake cables are rubbing

I did and i put grease all on them a crap load.

I can get the suckers lose but its getting late anyways I just sparyed some pb blaster and but the wheel back on..

Overnight the PB Blaster will work its magic

Still have mine but I am leaving mine in(reversed install for wheel clearance) even with the MM LCA's

Yeah i plan on geting uper and lower control arms.

I have mine removed, but I have MM LCA's

I removed mine, but after installing maximum motorsports adj. lca's. I was thinking about reinstalling them though just in case. Not sure if they will clear my 18/10 inch wheels though?

is the noise both left and right turns? I have a similar noise but it only comes on a hard/moderate left turn. A long while ago I had a blown quad but i don't recall any noises coming from it.

I really dont know if its the quad shock but it a squiking sound and i want to find out what it is.I hate how ford did the parking brake cable kinda dumb but i have grease on it so..

you check the mufflers and the piping to see if it's contacting the chassis anywhere?

buy control arms and remove them.

The Mufflers look fine dont see anything..It could be bushing i have no cule what it is..I am lost.

When I took everything of my car the quad shocks were totally busted and marking squirkin sounds, as well as the passenger side UCA (diff side mount was all worn out). I had nasty wheel hop WITH the quad shocks on lol...
