we have a old fox body race car that we built
but due to money we cant finish the restore..
we also have a show car that currently has a hydraulic cam in it.
would we be able to take the flat tappit cam out of the race car and put it in the show car a 302 block...

if so what all would we have to chang over to make it work...

is the show car a roller cam? I'm not sure if roller setup blocks can take flat tappet cams, but I would think that if the lifter bore is the same, then as long as you keep your lifters in order you should be able to change it. make absolutely sure you keep lifters in order though.

You can put flat tappet cams in 5.0 roller blocks without any issues. You can't do the opposite though without a roller retrofit kit.
