Question about Shaker 500 Speakers?

Can anyone tell me if the rear Shaker 500 parcel tray speakers are amplified? If so, where is the external amplifier?
Also any additional knowledge about the splicing of these rear speaker wires for a high level input to my subwoofer amp would be appreciated.

I don't know if anyone answerd your question, but no the Shaker 500 doen't have a AMP.
