questions about cams

hey guys
we have a race car that we are restoring
but due to money issues we are no longer able to..
we also have a show car that has a 302 block with a hydraulic cam in it
would it be possible to take the hydraulic cam out and put in a flat tappit cam?? if so what all would we have to replace for it to work???

Yeah, you just have to put flat tappet lifters in with it, which are cheap if you don't have any. Just remove the guide system for the roller lifters.
