Questions About Installing Headunit in 92 5.0

i recently bouaght a 1992 mustang gt 5.0 from a friend and when i b ought it he pulled out the system and now i cant tell what wire is what................and when i went to buy and adapter for it the adapter fits up to the other adapter in the car but he wasnt using thos wires..............i found a set of like 10 wires ranging from pink to orange witth blu stripe and was wonder what kind of adapter do i need for them?????????can somebody help me!!!???
