I just picked up a 1999 mustang gt 35 anniversary limited edition, is there certain numbers in the vin that would give me the production numbers. I also have a rip in the gray insert of the drivers seat anyone know who replaces or sell them.
I can't be of much help, but you can call some upholstery shops in your area, they should be able to match color and rewrap the seats. Probably would be less then replacing with a brand new seat. If that's out of price range try wrecking yards or craigslist for cars being parted out.
There is a forum here on StangNet that deals with the 1999 35th Anniversary Edition GTs. Just pop on over to the Special Production section and there's a forum in there for the 35th Anniversaries. You'll be able to PM the moderator there with your VIN and they've got a database of some sort verifying the information.
If you are a DIY guy check this e-bay store out. I sat in my drivers seat with a flat head screw driver in my back pocket once and poked a damn hole in my seats that where in perfect shape. I used this guy to buy and install a replacement cover.
