Hey guys,

My '91 GT street car needs to have the lower boxes fixed. This car is fairly stock and has never been to the track or launched. Now, my question is can I just get away with only doing the lowers and not the upper boxes?

How much should I spend (in labor) for a shop to perform this repair? Is this something most people can perform in their driveway?

Thanks in advance,

Eric

How bad is the damage? just a few cracks or are we talking control arm pulling part of the frame away?? If you are just adding torque box reinforcements then do it yourself in the garage. If it needs welding and what not then again it would depend on the size of the damage. pics would help out too.
