ever since i began my quest for new wheels i was set on staying with 17's...so i did all my research and figured out what tire size i was going to get for them...well plans changed and im stepping up to 18's so i was wondering will a 275/40/18 in the Front and 305/35/18 be a good size to go with?

i was going to do the same size in 17 but since im upping to 18's i didnt know if that would pose a problem...i used search but was coming across 17" sizes...im kind of torn between 295's or 305's for the rear

im just not sure what the best size for the front would be on an 18" rim

I have the 18x9/10 FR500's and actually run a 245 40R18 up front. Looks good to me and they are much less expensive compared to the 265 35's. I also think the 265 35's don't look right... not enough sidewall perhaps

265/35/18 up front & 295/53/18 rear fit perfect IMO... No stretch & no bulge. What brand tire you go with will also effect the fitment & the look as well. If you go with a nice domestic brand tire like a Goodyear, or BFG, they will be a tad wider than an import tire like Nitto, or Sumitomo.

i forgot you had 18's epik....now im more excited to get them...i think ill be going 265's up front from what you all have been showing me.. thanks guys!

oh, another probably newb question...is my car height going to raise any with 18s or will the tire size equal the height out?

100% with Epic. I had 265s up front and now I have 275s. The 265s were better, thats what I'll do next time. 295s on 18x10s out back is perfect.:hail2:

I recommend BFG KDW2s. Best tire I have ever owned. They crap all over the Pilot Sports I had before.:nice:

265/35/18 & 295/35/18 General Exclaim UHP tires
18x9 & 18x10s
H&R SS springs
ES isolators in the rear. no isolators in the front.

i HIGHLY recommend these tires. budget friendly and excellent manners.

does it matter that i auto x the car and run open track events too? should i go with a defferent size? i drive the car to work and to the track but thats about it so im not too worried about sizes not being good for a dd
