I have had the luxury of replacing the wife's head gaskets on her 2001 Taurus.
After looking at the old head to lower manifold gasket I noticed a difference in the slot.The original has a larger opening and the Fel-Pro has 2 small slots.Is this normal?Do I need to leave as is?The last time I changed any of these gaskets I just needed to bend the tab out.
