maybe its my ground...cuz i tried the acc with the red and yellow one and the same with the other...the only other possibility i guess is my ground....im using a block wire with a thin wihite stripe...
don't feel bad man, I managed to pull an engine out, rebuild it, and shove it back in myself, but I can't get a stereo to work either
I'm blaming it on a bunk stereo, but who knows
I don't really have any helpful advice except maybe re-read through some of the above posts as HISSIN and a few others seemed to explain it pretty well.
On my 90, I paid a stereo shop to do it along with my amp and subs. My 91 GT that I'm trying to get working is just a head unit and I will not pay a shop to do it it; either I do it or I'll go without
Are these the colors coming from the car or the radio. I'm not seeing some of these colors in my diagrams. You should have a Light Green/Yellow wire from the car going to the (hot/always on/batt) wire of the radio. A Yellow/Black from the car to the ACC of the radio and the Red from the car going to the ground for the radio.
