Sorry I dont know if this is the right forum but anyway.
While on the subject of hot Fords, what are your opinions on this car guys?
If Ford America replaced the old Taurus with one of these would you be interested in buying one for the family or just yourself?
Its not in the same category as a Mustang so it could be a good addition to the US market for large sized 4 door sedans.

looks a lot like the bad gto.

The hard thing is that most people in the states do not have an appreciation of fine high performance sedans.

Although I do tend to agree that the GTO is a bit drab in the looks department, it still has a fantastic sleeper appeal.

The Aussie Falcons (IMHO) are some of the absolute coolest performance sedans out there.

Mustangs being what they are (Muscular coupes) draw a certain crowd. This crowd is more apt to appreciate anything with 2 doors that is fast and can handle. I prefer the ability to pull up to a light and waste the guy next to me without him knowing what just hit him.

If my Lincoln had that kind of power and potential for more power, I would be VERY happy.

Now if Ford would just import them into the states.

hmm well I don't care for its design too much but it looks like it has decent performance
Although I can't really tell how much it weighs and cost since its not in pounds or dollars

Remember the 95 Taurus SHO?

How about a Five Hundred SVT?

The Taurus SHO was a sweet ride. I doubt there will be a SVT Five Hundred but I've heard they're planning a SVT version of the new Fusion sedan which should be really cool. If I have a garage with the new GT500 and a SVT Fusion I'd be a happy man. :)
