rattling noise in tranny

has anyone experienced a rattling noise coming from the tranny? it only rattles 25% of the time. and also when letting off the clutch, youll here a grinding/ vibration/ slipping sound (not the clutch) anyone have any clues to what this could be? i would really appreciate your feedback

i know on some gt trannys there are two bolts missing from the inspection cover and it rattles. try doing a search in the gt forums for tranny noises. i know that i had one in there called manual tranny noises or something close to that.

its not a gt. its the v6, but it almost sounds like a bearing.

Possible bad release/throwout bearing if its only doin it some of the time.
