My rear end makes noises only when I turn going slow. It don't do it when I'm driving straight. It just started this and don't know why. I've never seen this problem before.

I have never heard of a "read" ends king noises. Is it a "Reed" end on a clarinet or saxophone? Those make a lot of racket this time of year with beginning bands on the loose.

My first serious thought is there is a wheel bearing that is making a grind when turning at low speeds.

Do you have posi or an open rear differential? It is possible, but less likely to be clutch chatter from the limited slip. That is what can happen if the fluid was changed and the right additive was not added.
