Real weight loss mods...

With bolt-ons, I trapped at ~101 mph. I went home and took out my spare tire/jack, subwoofer, put in a rear seat delete, and removed my passenger seat. The next trip down the 1/4 resulted in 103 mph. It took 20 mins to remove 200 lbs. :)

Yea, :rlaugh: Its kinda pointless taking out crap that is stock to lose weight when you are adding the weight back in with stuff that isn't stock. But if you want to lose alot of weight fast start looking at light weight wheels and suspension parts.

I dont street race that often, and if I do its usually planned out. The reason Im doing this is for the track which means I know Im going to be racing so I will take out my sub, spare, and back seat. And the amp only weighs 5lbs MAYBE.

I was looking at Mr. Putnam's list. Very comprehensive! Can anyone verify that I can net a 90 lb. loss by swapping in a tubular K-member (steel) and related parts? That's alot of weight, and if that's accurate, I'm up for it!
