rear end question

I cannot seem to find out anywhere what kind of rear end i have, i have a 1968 Coupe, that came with a 302. it has a third member instead of a differentaial cover. any ideas?

If it is original it would be an 8". If the doortag is original it will have a code telling what the ratio is and wether it is locking or non-locking. Where the axle carrier bolts to the housing one of the bolts should hold a tag that deciphers the axle code. That is if it wasn't taken off. If you find the code and want to know what it is post here and someone will help you.
