Rear Seal?

Do I have to use a 2 piece rear seal for a 331, stock 5.0's have a 1 piece don't they?

The older SBF used a 2 piece. All late model blocks use a one piece.

Yeah, I figured either he was rebuilding from his current block, or was getting a "mail order" one.

The stroker does not matter in which rear main seal you use. It is more block related

I was originally going to buy a complete shortblock but decided that I want to build the engine myself instead, so I am just using my 91 block and a 331 rotating assembly, it will come with crank, pistons, rods, rings, bearings, balancer, and a flexplate, fully balanced to 28oz. I just didn't know if I use 1 or 2 piece seal?
