recommend a stall and cam combo..

for a mildly done, bolt on/cam'd 5.0.. stock heads stock intake.. 3.73s and a automatic (aod). Tranny will be built at the same time and all as well. Gotta be streetable.. because it'll be a street car play toy, and i want to be able to drive it to school/work whenever i want. I'm looking at either a simple E cam or a trickflow stage 1. suggestions on a cam and stall for my situation?

2000 stall and a f-cam

F cam is good choice for power. E cam much better for driveabliity. Must do at least a 3k stall. Trust me.

IF you're doing the F cam, make sure you change out your springs on your heads if they are stock. I ran the E cam on mine stock for a while with no issues and got great results.

Personally I wouldnt bother with a cam, your not going to benifit at all with the stock heads.
