Hi guys. I have a 95 V6 that I am trying to remove the power door lock actuator...can't seem to get it off the lock mechanism. THe hook only goes one way and there is not enough room to remove it....HELP!!!!

you have to remove the latch also. it doesnt have to come out just has to be
angled correctly.. (where the hook to the actuator connects.)
remove the three bolts on the side of the door, angle the latch so that the hook
can be removed.. you may also have to remove the window guide, there is one bolt in the lower left panel of the door remove it and the guide will slide down out of the upper window guide.. they connect to each other like your home curtain hangers slide into each other. the only reason to pull the guide out is to have enough room.. sometimes you can sneek the latch and actuator by.. but it is way easier to remove window guide ....just sounds difficult..

Well considering whoever owned the car before me has stripped the bolts that go to the latch, there's no way that thing is coming off. I need a different way to get it off. The guy I bought the new actuator from said there's a yellow clip that keeps the rod in the lock mechanism and that that can come off and you can slip the rod thru. I am going to try to do that...
