Yeah, because ****heads like him ruin it for everyone else. http://forums.stangnet.com/760243-fun-rental-car.html
No really, you did...Last time I rented a car it cost me DOUBLE because I am under 25...never mind the fact I have been driving (legally) for 8.5 years (pops taught me to drive @ 13 so I have literally been driving for 11 years) and have a spotless record. Funny how you get such a kick out of destroying someone else's property. I have an idea, rent me your car for $29/day and let me post vids of what I can do to it and we'll see how much of a "sack" you have after that. Seriously, it is time to grow up.
OMG you're like SO cool! I bet ALL the girls are just dying to be with you! And such a cute name too - Tuff. I seriously have no doubt that you drop vagina panties all day long, just walking around. AnD WhEn yOu TyPe LiKe tHiS iT MeANs YoU'Re ToTTalLy hArDCoRe!!
Thanks for the link to his old thread. Without it I wouldn't have notice the poor attitude in one of his posts and given him an infraction for it. Otherwise....what an idiotic display of destruction. I hope the rental company gets wind of this thread.
Oh yeah, what gets me. My company services a lot of rent-a-cars.... AVIS now has 4x4's in thier fleet, such as Dodge Nitro's. I think they are asking for it. I don't belive in abusing cars like that, but I don't see the harm in taking one out mudding.
Look at it from this perspective.....how would you feel if you let some under-25-year-old stranger hand you $30, take your car out for the day and they went "mudding" with it and posted a video on the internet for all your buddies to see? ...and rental car companies put 4x4's on their fleet not for people to abuse, but for resale purposes. Most companies buy their vehicles outright, or are on a buyback program with local dealerships. Loaded models of a particular vehicle are easier to sell come time to get ride of them than the base 2WD models are, so dealerships will insist on having the rental companies run those. The last thing these companies want to have is a dozen 2WD Dodge Nitro’s sitting on their fleets that can no longer be rented because they’ve met their agreed mileage allotment from the dealership program, but now said dealership can’t get rid of, or ones that they’ve bought out right, but can’t give away in 5-years time because John Q wants a Nitro with 4X4. Its all about the resale my friend. Optioned and loaded cars move, base cars do not. Heck....most Rental companies won't even insure you if they find out you're towing with one of their vehciles.....whether it comes with a tow package or not.
Id turn the douche bag in if I could, frigging moron EDIT: actually someone probably could, his name and location is in his profile more then likely the car was rented locally. Im sure a cross check of his name and the car in the video could be made.
Good point, never thought of that angle. I wasn't saying I would do that,. They do cycle them out rather quickly. It's kind of scary now because it used to be you could tell a rentacar pretty easily, but now... you never know, and it would suck to buy a second hand rentacar. Servicing them I have learned a few things: 1. They don't even think about getting the oil changed until it is past due. 2. Often when mananging a large fleet, they send the wrong car to be maintenced, so sometimes they get thier oil changed ever 100 miles, or 10000 miles. So, even though they have a good maintence record, it usually isn't accurate. 3. All they do is the oil change 4. People rag the hell out of them.
