I'm trying to come up with a good amber fog lamp, that I can replace my parking lights / turn signal light with.

A 3" round lamp would fit inside the stock housing, or a 4" with a housing.

Any ideas?

Amber Fogs are misunderstood.

Yellow/Amber lenses or bulbs do little to cut fog. Just another hyped JDM trend, that for some reason is once again gaining momentum.

While auxiliary fog lights have traditionally been available with clear or amber lenses, the amber lens fog light is losing popularity because it has not proven to be more beneficial in foul weather than clear lens fog lights, is not as effective as a clear weather cornering light, and is often less complementary to vehicle styling.

Case in point.

Thanks for the info, but my application will be to use them as parking lights / turn signal, as my car will see little or no foul weather driving. Since I'm using them for the parking lights, I want to maintain the amber color.

The ones you posted above are gonna be Yellow.

By amber you are meaning orange correct?

They do make orange fog lights. :nice:

You'd be better off looking at motorcycle LED systems.
