Ride quality?

Hello everyone. I am throwing around the idea of a convertible Terminator.

What is the ride like in these cars? I have lots of seat time in a 2004 GT Convertible and the ride is awful. Is the Cobra any better being a higher end model?

It will be essentially the same. The Cobra springs are slightly stiffer (600#), but the car weighs slightly more, so the two will come close to cancelling out. Sporty cars are generally not smooth riding, since smooth riding generally does not equate to good handling.

Ya he is right. About the same. But you dont own a 03 cobra for ride quality. Its no lexus

The cobra vert actually has softer springs than the cobra coupe. It is not bad on decent roads but poor road surfaces will def be annoying. But again it aint a fn lexus...

Simple answer its a Mustang the ride isnt going to be amazing. The Cobra is made for speed not comfort.

+1 you don't own a 03 cobra for ride quality. Heck my Dad's Porsche Cayman S doesn't ride smooth.
