Where in NJ are you located? Looks like you do great work!
Northwest Jersey, about 20 mins from the Delaware Water Gap.
Where have I been since April???? I don't hang out in 4.6L Talk too much, but nice progress thus far. I liked the car best with the Y2K's. Those are nice ass wheels. I love silver.
Thanks Matt! Unfortunately, all four of the 2000 Cobra R wheels were curbed bad. I'm way too much of a perfectionist to run them like that. Those wheels were only temporary. I liked the look of them a lot though, from 10 feet away they were sick haha.
I de Cobra'd the bumper tonight. That plastic repair stuff is nasty! It looks pretty good in primer. Working with plastic is a pain in the ass but I can/did deal with it.
I forgot to take a pic of the glaze blocked out but who really cares? lol
Can't wait to get this thing in color! It will possibly be done this weekend!
It looks amazing Jesse!! I'm getting really anxious to get all of these parts on the car already!
Here we go, were on the home stretch! The parts came out really well tonight. I was afraid they would be cluttered with dust cause plastic parts are a nightmare to get static out of but they came out really nice. Here ya go chris, can't wait to slap these big peices of automotive candy on your car saturday!
Dude I'm jumping out of my seat over here with anticipation, haha. The parts look incredible as expected. You do some killer work man! Thank you!
Very sweet ride
These parts are going on the car this coming Saturday the 4th. It doesn't seem like anyone in this section actually cares, but hell, I'm excited.
Your car is going to look sick with the Cobra parts. I for one like to read your build on your car man so keep us updated!
Sick build man...can't wait to see all the parts on
gonna look killer !
Thanks guys! I'm excited for tomorrow! I also have something else sinister up my sleeve in the the works for this car... stay tuned.
Looks as tho today is the day. Im ready to see some pics.
We got the parts all on and my what a difference! Car looks so much better!
Now is that a hint?
Can't wait to see some pictures.
You got it!
Thanks Jesse! Did I forget to tell you you're the ****ing man?!
Most definitely a hint to expect big things
OKAY OKAY!! Here they are! First, there are some before pictures followed by the finished product and some shots out in the sun. The car still needs a real detailing but Jesse did an AMAZING job on these parts and the color match is damn near perfect. Jesse was also nice enough to install my MM lower control arms while he was at it! I'm in love with the car even more now. Let me know what you all think!
The old hood and front bumper BEFORE. Apparently this was a V6 hood someone drilled and hacked a GT hood scoop onto with screws and double sided tape...
The old rear bumper before:
The old side skirts and side scoops:
Rear bumper off:
Front bumper off:
Cobra trunk lid open! Jesse sprayed the underside of the trunklid satin black, it looks killer!
Cobra rear bumper and trunklid/spoiler installed!
Look at that sweet ass...
The '99 Cobra hood came out incredible and looks badass!
Up in the air...
Then these bad boys went in... made a huge difference in the way the car feels. The rear end feels planted firmly now. MM stuff is just plain awesome.
ANDDDDD THE FINISHED PRODUCT!
