Yea its definately been a fun project so far. I love cleanin everything up with the sandblaster and paintin everything up real nice. Although I'm NEVER doing a body swap again. There are so many little parts that need to be swapped. Its a little overwhelming but I think I'll be able to get it all squared away when the time comes.

And yes, those are flofits. When I went to go look at the car he told me it had some kind of aftermarket seats so I figured it had some cheap APC "racing" seats in it. When i got there an saw it had these I flipped out. The interior came out of a 90 GT (stupid console delete).

Yea I had bought all really clean bolt on body parts that were rust free. I needed a clean body, it would have been a bear trying to fix all the rust and I was sick of a hardtop. NOTHING on the car was original anymore lol.

I got the wheels a real long time ago from a place in california that I think went out of business. You can get the better looking machined finish ones from discounttires.com I think. I like my new Stern replicas way better now.

i test fitted the svo sail panel in the first pic it isn't bolted on just yet. i have the car all the way down to a shell and surface rust here and there.it sure would be easier if i had access to a rotisserie.

Yea a rotisserie would def be nice. But ya cant always get what ya want. lol Our projects are definetly very similar lol. Keep on postin pics of yours. I like the SVO side panels. I have a set of quarter windows i got from a 93 so they are in real good shape so Ima just stick with that. Maybe when were both done well be competing for FOTM. lol

that would be nice to be even mentioned for something like that ,i have a mint 87 mustang gt body that has excellent rubber on the quarter windows but i really love the look of the svo sail panels.i think i may try to put it back together as well someday but the wife would kill me.chances are i am just going to part it out since it is just a roller anyway.

Part it out to fund the new project. Thats what I did with the left over parts. I've basically bought the 88 for free now.
