Rod bearings different depending on year?

Hi guys

I recently ordered a set of rod bearings for my 01 GT.

I received the bearings a couple of days ago and the package says Ford 4.6l V8 SOHC 1991-98
I know the Romeo 4.6l was introduced in 91.
Did the bearings change at all or are they all the same for 4.6l?
I did a search on summitracing and apparently they're all the same...the same rod bearings for 91 all the way up to 06.
Could this be?

Thanks
Patrick

Ok thanks.

Also,
I removed one of the bearings and it appears that the crank journal might've been scratched a bit by the bearing.

When I run my finger over the journal I can barely feel it...a little roughness.
Not a lot..like I said I can barely feel it.

Is that enough damage that I have to get a new crank orhave this one turned?

Thanks
Patrick

it is enuff to cause problems but shouldn't need to be turned, take it to a machine shop and they can prob polish it up so its smooth again
