Roller rockers getting noisier in this cold weather

Isnt that the brand where people said they always ticked? There was a thread about this like a year ago about it. One are mine are ticking but i got Ford Motorsport 1.6's but my problem is my lifter/lifters...i think. If your oil pressure is low it can cause some ticking.

The oil is a little too thick for the cold weather, a change to a thinner oil would be could all around. It will pump up to the top of the motor easier, and be a lot easier on the oil pump as well.

If I might ask, why the use of such a thick oil in your engine? With tight clearances comes resistance to flow - in other words, where the thick stuff just cannot flow well. 10w-30 should be fine just about all-year round. For the person that likes to run two different types, 10w-40 should be about the thickest and 5w-30 about the thinnest for a 302. No real advantage (more like disadvantage) to running anything heavier or lighter.
