Rotating Assembly wont turn

Ok so I am building a 331 stroker and am putting together my shortblock. I put the crank in and torque down the main caps and the crank turns freely like it should. After I got the pistons in and the rod ends torqued down (45ft/lbs per scat website), it still spins fairly well. After realizing im a moron and installed the pistons upside down, I turned them around and re torqued them down and it does not wont to spin at all. I backed off the rod bolts and torqued them back down to 26ft/lbs and it bairly wants to spin and by that I mean I have to have a 230lb man stand on one side of the engine stand so I can turn the crank without dropping the engine. I am using a complete scat stroker, so all the bearings and such already match the crank and rods. What am I missing here. Anyone else have these problems. I am using an x303 cam with gt40x heads so the valve reliefs need to be on the top side. Thanks in advance.
