Running Rich After CMDP Install?!

Hi everyone, I recently installed Steeda CMDP's on my 07 GT 5spd. I have a custom tune from Brent at Brenspeed. After the CMDP installation I'm noticing a very distinct fuel smell from the exhaust. It is much more evident than it was before the install. I asked Brent and he said that the new tune for the CMCV removal had exactly the same parameters as before. Basically the new tune was the same. So why is the car running slower and producing this odor. Is the car running rich? Unfortunately I dont have a A/F monitor yet. Can installing these plates affect the A/F? Any ideas fellas? Thanks, Chris:flag:

See if you can get to a dyno nearby, do a few test runs. See if they'll let you hang around the dyno and monitor your A/F, then if you're indeed running rich, The XCal2 has an easy option to lean (or richen) the fuel base. Hopefully they'll let you install a tune quick and re-dyno.

(The joys of working down the block from DiabloSport's Test Facility) :)
