I think that truck looks pretty good. I wonder how many of them they will sell? I really wonder how many guys with 05/06 Saleen S281's N/A will get pissed when they lose a drag race to one of these S331 blown monsters?:D

nice... the Lightning is gone...and I think Saleen has done very well with a "Thunder" of a replacement.

Just saw the S331 at the LA Auto show. Very nice! Coming out with a Extreme Version also. Single cab -- Extra cab -- Crew cab -- Can't wait to order one!!!!

Definately a nice car. Could you imagine getting your butt handed to you by a truck! I'd go back to the dealership and punch the salesman in the mouth...:rlaugh:

What do you think the 99-04 Lightnings or 04-05 Ram 1500 SRT 10 "Viper" truck did??? Its not like we haven't seen a performance truck before. Where have you been the past five years??? Out on the praire :owned: :p

Obviously I'm a hardcore Saleen guru but if I were in the market right now for a new performance truck look at what you can get for the price of a superchargerd S331:
    $50,000 for a S331
$40,000 for a SuperCharger Harley Truck
    $45,ish for a "Viper" truck
    $35-45 for an SVT Adreline
Asuming you want a full size truck, rule out the SVT version, however
we're getting right back into the 03 Cobra vs. 03 Extreme argument... Are you willing to shell out extra $10,000 for the Saleen version with less performance but more bling, bling.......

And who's to say they even make them or if they do, how long will they last? The only Ford Steve has had ANY sucess with is the mustang:
    Saleen Contour concept: never produced
    Saleen T-Bird concept: never produced
Saleen Ranger: less then 50 produced and abandoned the project
Saleen Explorer XP8: less then 150 produced abandoned and forgotten.
Saleen Focus S121: terrible sales numbers, dealerships can't even give them away.
    Saleen F150 S331: ??????

Really?! I would let a dealer give me one. I think it would be a great car for my two mile commute to work. :D

    Ya Dennis.

I think they also make a Saleen/Focus with pedals for the really short commutes! I'll take one also if they are giving them away.
Robert is correct though. Steve has a hard time coming through with these concepts. Ford sells more trucks than anything else on the planet. The only problem is 85% of those are F150's for farmers. I don't think the demographic of regular truck buyers will support it. We will se though.

For the record, I like it.:D Here is a new concept I hope gets produced. Will be waiting a while though.

Wow!!! What a shocker, a retro style Camero?? I think the car industry is going through the same trend as the movie industry.....NO NEW IDEA'S!!!! Have you noticed the number of pre-quel, sequels or remakes of movies within the last couple of years??? Hollywood has ran out of idea's for new movies. Now the automobile industries is following suit. Give me something cutting edge and exciting.....but not as drastic as the F250 Super Chef Concept:
[IMG] Are you joking me....That concept truck should be :ban:

Me too.... Marcus, lets start our own "What is your opinion on the retro style fad" thread
